I joined when I was 14 or 15 just to be able to say I was a member, never went to a meeting, never renewed my membership.

As others have noted, intelligence has nothing to do with common sense or rational behavior.

I've got three VERY ACTIVE ping lists (and with my luck Mensans would go on a widespread crime spree), so I'll pass. If you or someone else wants to do a Mensa list I would like to be on it.
