Hey EEE! We have to agree to disagree on this one, I am in the minority on FR, have been for 9 years.

I do not agree with SNL appearances, any Hollywood crap.

Nor any “Sundays With a Dem Hack Faux Reporter” show. Candidates and officeholders should be at home, or in different States, everyweekend doing local press...going to church...picnics, restaurants, town halls, knocking on doors, answering every question, explaining themselves, educating their constituents and the public.

No way should she or any Republican prostrate themselves with a Democrat hack...ever.

The Dems don't, never have.

Getting interviewed by a lightweight douchebag is earning it?

No, when you have a delay for “expletives” and the ability to cut to commercial at any time and only show the interview and not any of the “setup” or any “post broadcast coverage” you miss subtleties. While this one will be harder to do that, the intent will be there - they really seem to be afraid of Sarah. Those huge crowds she had (and evidently still does) really upset these fleebs. The emperor has no clothes, we know it, but we are still in the minority and they need to keep it that way for three more years. Any threat has to be marginalized. I think they fully believed she’d slink back to Alaska and never be heard from again. That’s why they were so enraged by Cheney - he was supposed to retire and die. How dare he actually give an opinion? Too bad McCain turned out to be what we all knew he was.

One of these days Palin and other republicans will realize that there is never any good that comes from associating with these liberal SOB’s!

Why do folks set themselves up like this?

Matt will have about 10 no win questions for her.
“Have you stopped beating your kids?”, “Yes” or “No”?

She needs to go on as many of the alphabet shows as possible, grant interviews to non-conservative print and radio media, etc.
She already has a highly disproportionate level of support amongst conservatives. It's the moderate Republicans, indies, and sane Democrat she now has to win over, and she won't accomplish this just by appearing on conservative-friendly shows.
I actually believe she relishes going on shows like Today et al.

She needs a hand full of answers like:

“I just do it to piss off liberals.....is it working Matt?”

All the more reason for her to go on these shows. We know that she is not the person that the MSM has portrayed her to be and this appearance will help expose that. Since this is a live interview, NBC will not have the chance to edit it in the most unfavorable way possible as "perky Katy" did. The opinion of those who are in love with Obama will not be changed, but MANY people (not me) who are not Obamaniacs watch The Today Show.

Is he going to ask her what the capital of Mali is?

Why give them a ratings spike? Let them die in peace.

‘She should not do this interview now.’

Sarah should absolutely do the interview to discuss the pipeline deal made today, which is HUGE news. The energy that will become available, the jobs this project will create, all stuff that will be the cornerstone for a Presidential run in 2012. Today, Sarah Palin created more real jobs than Zero’s entire stimulus package has so far. She should be on several outlets bragging about this accomplishment. She’ll deal with the Letterman nonsense in short order. But, she’s been sending out messages about an imminent deal involving energy, and since this is now a reality, she needs to get in front of a camera and talk about it.

Palin is a national figure and will have to face the MSM music one way or another. She can't speak to Hannity forever.

That's right and highly probable she'd agree too.

You are dreaming. You must live in a bubble. You don’t understand liberals at all.

Why should Sarah be on the defensive?

Matt should be interviewing Dave and asking him why he is such a stupid ass making unfunny pervert comments disguised as “jokes.” That is what the interview should be.

It’s a great idea. Matt Lauer, after the election, visited Sarah and her family at her home in Wasilla. Sarah made him dinner, he was respectful towards her..and when he interviewed her daughter Bristol on the Today show, he was pretty nice to her. Sarah knows what she is doing. Perhaps she knows that Matt will be respectful towards her. She knows EXACTLY what she is doing
