I know I've posted this before, but I can't get over the idea that Letterman's big excuse was -No, I didn't make a joke about your 14-year-old getting raped, but your EIGHTEEN-year-old getting raped!-

It makes you realize how many pervs have all these ideas in their heads, and they just wait until the object of their thoughts is "of age" before letting them out.

And Palin is once again demonstrating poor political judgement by fanning the flames. Imagine if the Bush twins had been the target of some crude comment like this. Neither George nor Laura would have dignified it with any comment at all.
