What do you suggest they shoot with? They are throwing rocks and have taken down several police officers. They have saved some Iranians from being dragged off. If you can link to some of the videos on this thread you can see some of it. There are many, many videos of what is going on right now, but not much coverage from the networks, for one thing they are being run out of Iran. I am getting my info from Iranians who are twittering or whatever they call it.
Iran officials called twitter and told them the block feature of twitter wasn't working. What is happening is they are using proxies and other tricks to go around the government censorship of twitter.
From the sounds of this message it seems some of the citizens have obtained firearms after all.
I find it interesting that CNN would rather talk about Sarah Palin and Letterman than to cover what might turn out to be a full blown revolution. Don't want to hurt Bozo's image I would guess.
