People who believe they are superior to others don't belong in politics. Actually, they don't fit in anywhere. When it comes to addressing people, myself included, it is the intent, and not the manner of address. Sometimes, I am called by my first name, full name, Mrs., Ms., Miss, or Ma'am. Clients also have called me Mom or Sister. Who cares, so long as they are respectful in their dialogue? I would have liked to see Brigadier General Michael Walsh, finish his discussion with her, using the word, Senator, but giving her a high class whomping!
