Do you think that the Moussavi supporters want to get rid of the mullahs? I thought they wanted to keep the Islamic Republic, and just get their man into the office of President. Khamenei would have to either accept the democratic vote, or get out the Council.
But they are not looking to get rid of the mullahs.
This protest has evolved. The protestors have been chanting ‘Death to The Mullahs’ and ‘Death To Kohmeni’..so it would appear that they want more freedoms and classical liberalism in Iran. They want better relations with the west, more freedoms for women and more freedoms and opportunities for the people...so you betch..there are elements in Iran that are ready to throw off the mullahs.
