This was part of the overall strategy of Pres. Bush's WOT. Democratize Iraq. Isolate Syria. Encourage the Iranian's to overthrow the Mullahcracy.
Pres. Bush handed Obammie the Commie a golden opportunity to free an entire nation (well, to assist, anyway) without firing a shot.
But Obammie the Commie's ideology is going to completely blow it. A free Iraq may actually help the world's petroleum flow. Obammie the Commie wants the oil flow choked off so he can force Marxism on America, in part, through the "energy revolution".

President Bush set up the ‘football’ for Obama and now Obama has fumbled the ball for a turn-over at the end zone. And i agree..it’s not about Obama being ‘green’ or ‘naive’...it’s his ideology to be against America’s interests.
