Not sure what disgusts me more. NRO’s affair with Romney or Sanford’s with the woman in Argentina.
Hell NO to the liberal.
"I will destroy anyone who stands in my way .. or their children."
The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."
- Boston Globe, 11/8/2006
Romney is a non starter. He didn’t get to first base
in the 2008 Primaries and won’t do any better in 2012.
He would be fine for selling cutting knives or cleaning sprays on TV
What would you call yourself then.
Yep, got your “Change we can believe in” t-shirt yet?
Sarah Palin - 2012
CHANGE YOU'LL BE BEGGING FOR
Boltin in Sarah’s cabinet as SOS after she gets the USA out of the UN and the UN out of the USA.
Mike Huckabee, zero appeal outside of the Bible belt, easily parodied by press, zero appeal to disenchanted Donk voters.
Mitt Romney, biggest problem is with the GOP base, but has made progress since last election. People like Rush eventually came around to supporting him when faced with the McCain disaster.
Ron Paul. Only if the recession deepens into a full recession and scandals follow. The darkest of dark horses, not to even mention his age.
Haley Barbour. Maybe. Seems competent. Katrina story is compelling.
Bobby Jindal. Needs seasoning. His prime time speaking slot really was embarrassing. Of course so was Clinton’s first one, at the Donk convention.
Sarah Palin - probably can’t win and will be attacked mercilessly by the Libtards for imagined sins and lack of being a snooty insider, but looks more and more likely to be able to do damn well in the nomination battle is she wants to.
Dirk Kempthorne, and MikeLeavitt. Unknown to me. So they have a long way to go on the name recognition thing. Are either rich? If not, it’s probably too late.
Lowry’s a timid half-wit. I can’t understand what Buckley was thinking when he turned NR over to him. It boggles the mind.
And you’re right, he’s never won an on-air debate. Even when he’s 100% in the right, he gets his his hat handed to him. Complete and total ineptitude.
So much love in the GOP establishment for a man who was acceptable to a majority of Massachusetts’ voters.
Funny, I thought I was the only one who put those two together...
Romney was their candidate in 2008 too.
ROFLMAO!
Youre shilling, and hiding that fact. Youre trying as of today, to sound as if youre a Palin supporter. That was a quick conversion. Cant say Ive ever seen a Palin supporter so eager to smear another, fellow conservative. I have, however, seen plenty of Romney supporters do exactly that. I called you a Romney shill last night, and I still think you are today.
