I was a teenager during Jackson's Thriller days. So in this "icon's" memory, I will listen to AC/DC all week. Maybe throw in some RUSH & Little Feat too. Ok, I was never much of a Michael Jackson fan.

Is it too early to loath the MSMs bowel inducing coverage of this yet??

Yes. Why not wait until AFTER the funeral? Then you can dance on his grave... such fun... Thriller REDUX.
/sarcasm on/

It really would be nice if some here would try to have a semblance of feeling for his family and loved ones.

"never much of a fan"

It seemed to me that his music was directed at the early teen set. None of his music was adult-centered , and I'm not a fan of dancing pop stars anyway. So Jackson's appeal to me was zero. His death didn't affect me any more than Ed McMahon's death. What I really objected to the most was the lack of coverage of major news yesterday. I guess the big thinkers at the various news channels, including FOX, thought that the great majority of Americans were deeply affected by his death and didn't want to hear about the far more important world events. We have major events going on in Iran and elsewhere, and they choose wall-to-wall coverage of Jackson's death. That irritated me to no end.
