Nanny says Michael Jackson's stomach had to be pumped regularly

As the pop icon's personal physician denied any role in the mysterious death, the Jacksons - following a day-long meeting at the family's California compound - had a followup autopsy conducted in Los Angeles, TMZ.com reported.

The star's incensed father, Joe Jackson, in his first public comments since his son died Thursday, said he is desperate to learn what caused his boy's sudden death.

"That's what we're trying to find out right now," Joe Jackson told People magazine. "There's a lot to be told, though, I'll tell you that right now. ... The truth is still to be told.

"We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you - who Michael loved so much," Jackson said.

"Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever."

Joe Jackson - "Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever."

Carry on so the $$$ can role in. I wonder how long before the "He didn't really die" Elvis Jackson kooks start blathering? I wonder how long before the Elvis Jackson sitings start?

Gotta keep that legacy going on.

f you look back at most of the creative people in our life time...they are tortured souls.

This is true for almost any era. It seems to be part of what it means to be truly creative. Take this definition of schizotypal personality disorder.

ideas of reference (excluding delusions of reference)
odd beliefs or magical thinking that influences behavior and is inconsistent with subcultural norms (e.g., superstitiousness, belief in clairvoyance, telepathy, or "sixth sense"; in children and adolescents, bizarre fantasies or preoccupations)
unusual perceptual experiences, including bodily illusions
odd thinking and speech (e.g., vague, circumstantial, metaphorical, overelaborate, or stereotyped)
suspiciousness or paranoid ideation
inappropriate or constricted affect
behavior or appearance that is odd, eccentric, or peculiar
lack of close friends or confidants other than first-degree relatives excessive social anxiety that does not diminish with familiarity and tends to be associated with paranoid fears rather than negative judgments about self

I think most of these could have been applied to Michael Jackson or a wide array of creative types.

He sounds like Howard Hughes, except Hughes did not spend all his money.

Not just pills, including powerful Dilaudid and Vicodin, but supposedly daily injections of Demerol narcotic. I’m no doctor, but I doubt if anyone would use all those together even on a patient in extreme pain in hospital. This sounds like another sad case of the rich and powerful getting anything they want, however unadvisable, by just buying themselves a doctor.

Boy what a “nation” we have become. We worship Obmanation and MJ.

Washington, Henry et al surely are be weeping at how we have allowed ourselves and their legacy to be destroyed.

Speaking of Elvis - don’t you just wonder how that meeting in the afterlife must have gone?

The star's incensed father, Joe Jackson...

Funny that the family and friends are coming out with all these complaints AFTER Jackson died.

They could have spent a little more energy earlier, on an intervention, if they knew he was strung out on drugs.
