“Does this mean Cap and Trade cannot be stopped now?”

No, but it is a +2 vote swing towards the environuts.

Inhofe seems sure that the Dems only have around 35 “yes” votes.

What are the party affiliations of the five judges?

For that matter, what is the party affiliation of the Minnesota governor who said he would certify Franken if the court ruled in his favor?

Somehow, I’ve just never seen the advantage of cutting off one’s nose to spite their face...still don’t!

I like the post about Caligula appointing his horse, Incitatus,to the Roman senate. At least the horse had sense.
As the poster said, all we have is the horse’s ass.

Here we have a state that elected a wrestler as Governor and and a comedian as a Senator. Someone somewhere must be REAL proud to be from Minnesota. Let’s not forget the spineless current Governor who stood by and DID NOTHING. America, we get what we deserve.

Well, with Congress acting the way it has been, what else is there but ♫ “send in the clowns?” ♫

Relax FReepers...everything except Supreme Court appointments can be reversed...we just need to start replacing the ‘Rats & RINO’s in Congress & the WH! And 11/2010 is an excellent beginning!

“Does this mean Cap and Trade cannot be stopped now?”

I believe it is still dead because I just do not see all of the moderate democrats voting for it. Also, the dems already had a 60 vote majority because of senators like Snowe and Collins.

I hope Coleman and the Republican party takes this to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Even if you know you're going to lose,at least go down fighting for truth, justice, and the real American way!

“Let the buyer beware. All this is necessary for good people to see the truth. Be patient. The Good Guys win in the end, I peeked at the back of the book.”

Correct. It took having the CA Assembly and Ahnold drive the car off the cliff before sanity started to make a comeback with the defeat of 1a.

All of the lib ideas are bad and they will fail. Then, buckle up for the massive swing back.

True, but we have to be realists: they ALREADY HAD a supermajority. Snow/Collins/McCain (half the time) will always vote with the Rats, and Coleman would have done so many times as well.

As on a sports team, sometimes you need to trade away players who have a lot of "pop" but don't make the plays. We need to get down, if necessary, to 30 Senators (or 25 or whatever the number is) that we can absolutely count on every single time. Only then can we build and take back the senate that is anything but window dressing.

The United States Senate and its rogues gallery of charlatans and fools richly deserves this degenerate clown in its ranks.

Senator Al Franken should be exalted by conservatives as the primary symbol of today’s despicable and horrid U.S. Senate.

They deserve him.

We need to get the details of cap & trade out to the public. The MSM will not do it. It’s up to us. We need some big donors, (where are all the companies that will be effected by this) to take out ads..just get the word out. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT’S IN THIS BILL..and it’s time everybody did.
