Jewish liberals are often book smart and life stupid.
I can barely speak to liberal Jews even though my background is Jewish.They love abortion,gun control, illegal aliens,etc and are generally huge hypocrites.
They can all go to hell.One of my cousins,a career Marine, was told he was not welcome in uniform in a synagogue in Hawaii during the Vietnam War.He was higly decorated for valor in combat and here these scumbags thought he wasn’t good enough to pray with them.
He never went to any synagogue after that.
He told me this decades after both of us had come back from the war.I was surprised,but not exactly shocked.Fortunately,I found local Jewish communities welcoming to servicemen during the same period.

Did your cousin ever consider your cousin's experience was an aberation, rather than simply characteristic of Jews? My experience was like yours, same time frame, at Paris Island the mens club from one of the Charleston Synagogues came in every 4 weeks or so with lox and bagels.
