Was that really DU that you linked to? They were being skeptical of the One? What is this world coming to?

Too late Helen. The slobbering 'press corpse' gave the Kenyan a free pass during the campaign and we're now paying the price -- literally.

Is it me, or is Helen Thomas getting just a little bit cuter?

If Helen Thomas is complaining it’s probably because Obama didn’t offer her the post of lead cheerleader and she’s miffed.

I never thought I’d say it but that’s a great classic photo portrait of Helen! Outstanding.

I know, I know, she's a lib. But who know's what could happen in this bizarro world. One can only dream.

When you read DU, do you get the feeling you are presiding over a kindergarten class?

A stopped clock is right twice a day.

And if anybody could stop a clock, it’s Helen Thomas.

When I first heard of Helen's criticism of this adminstration's media manipulation tactics I thought someone had posted an item from The Onion. Good for Helen. Better late than never.

Wow, that’s Helen?!

Time has not been kind. She was quite attractive in her youth.

More than a brilliant observation. I, too, watched it last night, and got a tightness in my chest at that EXACT scene.
That entire scene, the senate applauding, Padme’s lament, and the face of the Emperor would make a telling commercial.
However, isn’t Lucas one of those applauding with the senate? He wouldn’t allow it.

That’s from back when she still used her maiden name, Ahanbaskit.
