The making of Sen. Blutarsky
Waterbury Republican-American ^ | July 3, 2009 | Editorial

Posted on 07/03/2009 8:43:49 AM PDT by Graybeard58

After all the votes were tallied Nov. 4, incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman of Minnesota led socialist Democrat Al Franken by 725 votes. The mandatory recount reduced the margin to 215. And then the lawyers took over.

They won rule changes in the middle of the game that allowed election officials to add previously disqualified votes to Mr. Franken's total and subtract valid votes from Sen. Coleman's. They unearthed thousands of heretofore missing absentee ballots, all from counties that had gone overwhelmingly for Mr. Franken, and suddenly their boy was up by 312.

Then the lawyers got the courts to stop the counting and declare Mr. Franken the winner. (This was how the 2000 presidential election was supposed to turn out for the Democrats.) The election now stolen, U.S. Sen. Al Franken, as ridiculous as that may sound, now heads for Capitol Hill to join all the other unfunny clowns infesting "the world's most deliberative body."

Absolutely right. This election was Norm Coleman's to lose, and he chose to lose it by voting for last October's $800+ billion stimulus bill. (Remember that one? Remember when $800 billion seemed like a lot of money?) Coleman chose to vote for that first bailout bill over the screaming objections of his constituents -- me included -- and that p.o.'d his base just enough to push about 17% of the vote over to a third-party candidate (Dean Barkley) who talked a really good libertarian line. *That single vote* is what made this election close in the first place.

Then, once it went into recount, Coleman chose to lose again, by conducting the court fight in a really stupid and inconsistent way, and conceding points he never should have conceded.

Short answer: Coleman chose to lose this one. And now the whole country is going to pay for it.

I'm glad you mentioned Governor Goofy -- er, Ventura.

Ventura was elected in a three-way race, when former St. Paul Major and Democrat-turned-RINO Norm Coleman couldn't manage to get people excited enough about him to give him a large margin of victory over the Democrat he should have beat like a baby seal, Hubert "Skippy" Humphrey III. (Yeah, the son of LBJ's vice-president.)

This time around, Minnesota elected Senator Al "F***wit" Franken because Senator Norm Coleman managed to show his true RINO colors again by voting for the first $800+ billion bailout bill just a month before the election, over the strong objections of his constituents, which p.o.'d conservatives enough to make large numbers of them defect and vote for Ventura protege and political advisor Dean Barkley, who talked a very good Libertarian line. So this time in the three-way race, the Democrat came up the winner.

The problem in this election wasn't that Minnesotans are morons who like Franken. The problem was that RINO Norm Coleman went out of his way to p.o. conservatives just before the election.

Read up on Project Secretary Of State Implemented, Funded by MoveOn.org ,ACORN,Move America Forward. This is where these groups fund Democrat candidates for State Secretaries Of State To rig Election Outcomes Just as they did in Minnesota. Now we are funding the demise of all our Future elections . If it wasnt for the idiot who was elected Sec Of State in Minnesota Coleman Would still be Senator

The biggest farce was the canvassing board “recount” of disputed ballots. Every ballot was online, and voted on by both experts and by the public, and both agreed that the result of that count should have left Coleman in the lead.

But instead, the canvasing board time and again rejected Coleman votes and manufactured votes for Franken.

Coleman meanwhile never caught on that he had to harass absentee voters who had been rejected to find out which ones voted for him. Franken’s team did this by getting their home addresses, and in the end they knew exactly what envelopes had Franken votes in them, and those were the ones they brought.

And the courts failed in their obligation to the law, when they allowed the canvasing board to THROW OUT A RECOUNT that showed Franken with 131 fewer votes than on election night, and instead going back to the original election-night count — in direct violation of both the law and prior court rulings.

Coleman of course is to blame as well, he and Pawlenty, for supporting McCain, who did terribly in Minnesota.

Casey is pretty dumb alright, maybe even the dumbest senator with a penis. But he never had to compete with Mark Dayton for the honor.

On the female side, the competition is a whole lot stiffer. Barbara Boxer just can't win the honor as long as Patrica Bin Murray warms the seat from the State of Washington.

“Read up on Project Secretary Of State Implemented, Funded by MoveOn.org ,ACORN,Move America Forward.”

Am fully aware of the Leftist/Socialist/Democrat Sec. of State project however I am having a very difficult moment here believing that Move America Forward is part and parcel to such shenanigans on behalf of the Leftist/Socialist/Democrats.

I’m certain you didn’t mean MAF, but some Soros organization that supports the Leftist mischeif we are allowing ourselves to become tolerant of, and not addressing with any vigor whatsoever which is my point in my original post.

If in doubt, kindly read it again.
