A listing of known ethics complaints filed against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin:
1. July 28, 2008: Alaska lawmakers launched an investigation into whether Gov. Sarah Palin abused her power when she fired Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan over his refusal to let go a state trooper involved in a contentious divorce with Palin's sister. Stephen Branchflower, a special counsel leading the investigation, concluded Oct. 10 that Palin violated a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain. The firing itself was deemed lawful since Monegan was an at-will employee.
2. Aug. 6, 2008: Complaint filed by outspoken Palin critic Andree McLeod of Anchorage contended Palin and some staff members used their influence to get a Palin supporter a job in state government. Complaint alleged Palin staffers helped Tom Lamal, who once co-hosted a Palin fundraiser, to get a job as a surveyor. Dismissed by state personnel board, although the board's investigator recommended ethics training for one staffer who made questionable comments in e-mails.
3. Aug. 20, 2008: Complaint accused Palin of breaking election law by taking a public position on a mining ballot initiative days before the vote. Filed by Brian Kraft, founder of the Bristol Bay Alliance, a group that opposed the Pebble Mine prospect. Rejected May 8 by the Alaska Public Offices Commission.

Let's see what snide remark Letterman comes up with this week.
Does anybody care to venture a guess on how many LEGITIMATE ethics complaints could be launched against B. Hussein Obama, Joe Obiden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Barbara Boxer and so on?
ABC needs to do a poll of Americans to see if this move hurts her or helps her Here’s the question they’ll likely use:
Do you believe that Sara Palin, resigning from the Alaska Governship to pursue selfish personal gain at the expense of Alaska, her family, he poor son who has Down’s Syndrome, did the right thing?
Yes or no?
Oh, there were some still buying into it here on FR last night.
The Dems are marketing her as a quiter....Saying she ran as an experienced governor.
LOL... I love how the MSM stands up for crooked cops who taser 10 year old kids.
“The Dems are marketing her as a quitter....Saying she ran as an experienced governor.”
Seems to me what matters is what the Republican base thinks of her...the Dems have made it clear that taking her out is their top priority for the next election cycle.
I think Sarah is an 'outside the box' thinker and I, for one, can't wait to see what happens. I'm praying that she's just beginning to shake things up!
File this for further reference.
Dang, ADN is just pi$$ed because now they will have to lay off the three reporters they have on staff just to dig up stuff on Sarah! She was their favorite subject to harp on. Whatever will they have to do now?
Hmmm...they could devote a little more space to the teacher shortage in the villages, the cultural disconnect between the Natives and their (the Natives) own culture, which rivers are open to what kind of fishing, how the Discovery channel should just change their name to The Alaska Channel (that would rock! I even like Ice Road Truckers!) or any of the thousands of other things Alaskans are interested in. But, hey, that wouldn’t be as fun for the ADN, now would it?

Letterman will be a hero to his fellow Lefties for “driving Palin from office.” Since so few watch his lame show, maybe he can be the second clown to run for a Senate seat in the future.
btt
They’re still around today - we should start a list of the FRino’s so that we’ll know who is who when the election season starts in full swing.
I was referring to one with a sign up date of 2003...
Ah, the Rabid Left, dripping with rabies seeking to infect everyone they can using the LW media. I do think this gives the Palin camp much more freedom to go on the offensive
maybe the Lefties will wish she were still in office, with all the restrictions, once she is un-leashed. i’m a-hoping!
