Last week there was a huge ethnic conflict between Muslim
Uiurh and ethnic Chinese in a large toy factory in ShaoGuan, Guangzhou province.
According to Chinese blogs, the company (XuRi Toy factory) hired 800 Muslim workers from XinJiang province last month. The workers there live in those row apartments. The Muslim think they can just go to the female domitary grab a girl whenever they want sex. Three girls have been gang raped in the last few weeks. One girl reportedly commited suicide. The police arrested the perps, but let them out in a few days. Last week they kidnapped another girl, she cried for help, two men intervened and a fight broke out. The Uiurhs called in 70 with knives and steel bars to join the fight, then more chinese workers joined in (They disassembled their steel bunker bed for weapon).
According to report, some 5000 Chinese workers fought the 800 Muslims and it was a mess.
The complaint I heard from Chinese blog was that Chinese government is afraid of Muslim unrest from the Western provinces and hurting international image, has been treating the Muslims with kid gloves. The one country, two law system has caused racial resentment from ethnic Chinese as they see Muslim law breakers were let off hook easily.
Chinese government officials have visited the Muslims in the hospital, but have arrested a worker who first reported gang rape incidents at the factory on charges of lying and inciting racial hatred.
The unrest from Muslims in XinJiang is very likely the result of what happened in ShaoGuan.
The Muslims are a problem worldwide.
