I have just received the American Community Survey form from the Census Bureau. This is the replacement for the 2010 long form and is being given randomly to a certain number of households. My knee jerk reaction was to chuck it and wait for my official Census Form to come in order to only give my name, rank, and serial number. However, I started looking at what my answers to the questions would be (ie. Caucasian, US citizen, Suburban driving, self-employed professional, non-grandchild rearing, enabled not disabled) and started to think maybe my lifestyle needs to be counted. What do the freepers think?

On questions that I feel are none of their business I will put N/A.
I answered the question, just not they way they would like.

I am considering seeking assistance from Congressman Bachmann, who I am of the understanding, she will only respond to them what they are constitutionally entitled to receive. The American Community Survey (ACS) is a nationwide survey designed to provide communities a fresh look at how they are changing. It is a critical element in the Census Bureau's reengineered decennial census program. The ACS collects and produces population and housing information every year instead of every ten years.

No basis for this in the constitution. It is govt. run amok and will result in more oppressive central planning from bureaucrats in Washington.

After reading some of the questions I would tell them to "shove it."

I don't have much faith in the count. It gives me the creeps to think the census count may be similar to the election returns in the Iranian election. I know, I know, I'm just an old vet who thinks that everything coming out of Washington is bad, my emails are being monitored as are my cell calls, my movement is being monitored, the only people telling the truth are Rush,Glen,Sean and Pete King.I also believe that Sarah Palin is the true hope for the future of our Republic and both parties hate her because she's honest. I know, I'm a lunatic. We are thinking of claiming “Native American” - both of us were born here and we ARE Americans. They’ll probably wonder how the indians got off the reservation!
