It will be interesting to see how the Dems try to square the “CIA lied” theme with the “Bush lied” theme. At some point they will have to claim that Bush TOLD the CIA to lie, and I have little doubt that THAT is a lie. But I actually agree that the CIA has indeed lied, either as CYA for bad intelligence, or because they opposed Bush and his policies. Remember the whole Plame affair and the various anti-Bush leaks that came out of the CIA and other agencies when the Iraq war went sour? But so far it looks like the Dems are going to try to claim that CIA disinformation to Congress and the public began and ended with the Bush administration, and that somehow Bush was behind it. I would actually enjoy a full and honest inquiry, but since the Dems are in charge that ain’t gonna happen.

Exactly. And the Democrats have no problem exposing CIA agents to the media or our enemies when it's to their advantage.

It's too bad the Lefties, like Plame, in the intelligence agencies can't be tagged and the agencies returned to the days when they actually worked secretly. Thanks Church Commission.
