Absolutely right. Ain’t no “Conservative Messiah” going to excite an electorate like the commie BHO did.
BHO had his commie support crew in place. BHO was just a little more leftist than the rest of his party. Any conservative able to excite the Republican party would be, at best, a RINO. Anybody more conservative would be dismissed as a radical.
Unless, or until the conservative message gets adopted by a significant number at the “grassroots” level, the country is going to lurch left.
I agree with the assessment that Palin has outflanked the press, and hopefully the mainstream Republicans. She has NOTHING to gain from staying on as Governor. She can avoid the distractions of the left and left wing media. The distractions are planned I believe. The left KNOW they must defeat her now.
McCain would have been at least another 5 points behind BeHO if not for Palin... a muzzled Palin I might add. The Romney, Huckabee, Bush crowd KNOW she will clean their clocks come 2012; she must outflank them also.
In 2012 the Obama “Change” machine will come to fruition. The folks will want “Change” again. Obama is a one term president unless he can completely subvert the election (which is possible). The “Mainstream Republicans COULD lose, Palin won’t lose.
She has to do what Reagan did, take her message to the people. If she takes off the gloves and shows what nasty asses the press has been toward her children she might get a lot of attention and sympathy from the voters... who, like Palin, have REAL families. She MIGHT even whoop their collective asses enough to force them to examine their gross bias. Romney and company cannot ever do that... just part of the reason they will likely lose to a weak candidate.
The Current “Moderate” Republican Leadership are just like Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain.. weak. Dubya only won because he ran against very weak candidates. Even Obama was not that strong... McCain was just that weak.
I think Palin KNOWS what she is doing and it isn’t what the box thinkers think. This is a good thing.
