Correct me if I’m wrong, but the only politican I know who quit their office to run for President was Bob Dole.

“Correct me if I’m wrong, but the only politican I know who quit their office to run for President was Bob Dole.”

Duncan Hunter didn’t resign his seat in Congress, but he did not run again for it while he ran for president, unlike McCain, who did nothing but campaign for 8 years while holding on to his Senate seat.

Correct me if I'm wrong but running for president is a full time job and so is being a Senator (or Governor). Correct me if I'm wrong again, but it seems to me that the politician who resigns their job to run for president instead of staying on as senator(or governor) is the politician who is doing the correct(ethical) thing.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the only politician I know who quit their office to run for President was Bob Dole.

There are others. Phil Gramm comes to mind.

Back to point: Now we can add (if she does indeed run) Sarah's name to this small list of ethical politicians.
