I admit I didn't see the thread. Comments about president's kids should be out-of-bounds. We have said that under W and we should hold to it. We have been bad about that since Chelsea.
What say you to the issue?
You should have stopped there and caught up.
Then you wouldn't post uninformed kos talking points like this:

They always have been, until if when they grow up they make political comments.
If people like the Obama's use their kids to make political statements with their clothes, it will be reported here.
I thought the point of your post was that a "caption" thread about the kids was inviting negative comments about the children. I agree. I also think they should be off limits. My point was, the article I saw was a legitimate news article that included a picture. The article said she was making a political statement. I seriously doubt that she was, but nevertheless, it was a news article and it was posted. Happens here all day long as you are well aware, being an old timer and all.
