The kids should ALWAYS be off limits. The PARENTS have control over wardrobe. Ask them. They’re the ones who failed their kids, and used them to make the political statement...

Well, that’s a little bit what I’ve been thinking. Maybe she wore the shirt not really knowing the political symbolism that it holds to many.

So let’s take it a little farther. Suppose she shows up next time in a “No Nukes” shirt. Once she starts publicly expressing a political opinion, at what point does she stop being off limits? Or does she get to say whatever she wants with no rebuttal.

Don’t forget. Barak declared Michelle “off limits”.

Which apparently meant that she should be able to shoot her mouth off and never be criticized.

Regardless, it’s a rookie mistake (being charitable) by the parents to let her go out at a high-profile event with a shirt on that smacks in any way of politics. When Obama goes to Japan, will she be wearing a “Save the Whales” Tshirt? (Japan continues to whale for “research purposes” and it’s a sore subject in the lefty world.)
