The much-anticipated stimulus sputtered, and there is a sense of bewilderment in the administration about why joblessness and economic growth are stagnant after the government injected trillions of dollars into the system.

The government didn't inject trillions of dollars into the system. They sucked trillions of dollars out.

I suspect a lot of that money will go into the black market and disappear into Central and South America.
