And there were reports that the Army pressured a company to fire Mr. Cook. This silly birth certificate story is producing a lot of smoke.

It would probably be the correct thing for the Army to advise the company that Major Cook's security clearance had been revoked, and simply to remind the company that no one without such a clearance may work on their contracts...

...but the reports I've heard seem to suggest the Army (at someone's behest?) did more than that.
