By the way, to the deadbeat leftist idiot (you know who you are) that stated our current health care system places insurance company bureaucrats between you and your doctor, let me assure you that it certainly does not. In our current health care system provided by way of the American free market, you certainly do not have to be the victim of government or insurance company bureaucrats. You can opt out at any time and pay for your own health care out of your own pocket. There’s no one between you and your doctor. And I will tell you from personal experience, they’ll even offer you discounts for payment on the day of visit.

I’ve been self-employed and self-insured for many years.

Obama’s system just like any other totalitarian socialist government system locks out the private option and totally destroys the free market systems.

FReep him and the socialist democrat high horse he’s riding.

Revising and extending my remarks, the ideal free market system would include some sort of high co-pay catastrophic insurance option that does not cover any routine office visits or prescriptions or tests until a certain high level of expense has been met. People would pay the vast majority of their health care costs out of their own pockets and doctors, clinics and hospitals would be competing for their business. Costs and premiums would be kept low by the marketplace. Insurance would only kick in for something major like a stroke, heart attack or major illness or surgery. Every family would want to carry hospital insurance for that. Again competition would keep the premiums relatively low. And we’d all be much better off. And no fricken socialist government involved.
