The problem isn’t the deadbeat Beckys, the problem is the encroaching socialism that covers for the Beckys. Put the energy where it belongs, ending these so called safety nets.

and again, I am sick of yuppies and muppies who pay more for cell phone service than a health policy and then- when the unplanned happens- they show up as “uninsured Americans” who think healthcare is their right when they get sick or injured and convince stupid voters we all have to pay for their shortsightedness.

That used to drive a relative of mine crazy when she was working in the ER - no insurance, but they all had better cell phones than hers, with call waiting, call blocking, and every other feature.

Pulled off the intarwebs:

"Many people think the Amish do not pay taxes. They do. But they have been exempted from paying Social Security. This story is little known to the general public today. It is full of drama, clashes with the government, issues of religious freedom, politics, and much more. For writing this 5-part series, I was privileged to have access to many original materials and personal letters."

“different” as in you believe in mandates, not freedom, for people like Becky, who, as a Christian Scientist, doesn’t accept western medical constructs for healing. SO? Why is it that the no-freedom people DEMAND tolerance from others for their views, but show no tolerance for diverse views? I am merely pointing out that you don’t seem to be much of a freedom-lover.

LOL

I served this country for 20 years to defend the freedom of intolerant people like you to define my expressing my opinion as:

- forcing my views down your throat
- not belonging in this forum.

Nice try but no cigar.

If Becky gets cancer I'm OK with a hospital letting her die if she cannot afford afford to pay and tells the rotten corrupt system she wants to die.

I'm not OK with uninsured people who can afford - but do not choose - to self-insure, expecting taxpayers to pick up their tab, which far too many of the uninsured do.

I rest my case.
Good Day Madam. Enjoy your freedom.

Thank you for your service to our great country. So you would be a person who understands, then, that unlike our European and English ancestors and counterparts, we are NOT subjects of our government, but assume that government instead serves US—and does not impose health insurance mandates upon us!

He has also assured the pharmaceutical companies of limited liability/no liability for certain drugs and vaccines.

One more question I have for you, since you are not OK with people who can afford insurance but don’t have it. How do you feel about people who can afford health care and don’t want insurance, specifically, they don’t want Medicare?

I wonder what will happen to the thousands, must be millions of dollars given out to the Aaron White program that provides free HIV meds.
