Will someone please teach AP how to Google! (More nonsense Sarah Palin 'scandals')

Steve Gilbert checks online into the background of the investigator who preposterously suggests in an illegally leaked preliminary report that there was something unethical in the creation and operation of the Palin defense fund, set up to defray the over half a million dollars in legal fees the Governor has incurred fighting off an unending series of frivolous ethics charges.

Here's what he found:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DANIEL, THOMAS ANCHORAGE, AK 99507 PERKINS COIE LLP/ATTORNEY

KERRY, JOHN F VIA JOHN KERRY FOR PRESIDENT INC

10/20/2006 1000.00 26930685961

Total Contributions: 3500.00

Mr. Daniel is a very active Democrat.

Moreover, he is a partner of the law firm of Perkins Coie.

From Wikipedia :

Perkins Coie

... Perkins Coie also serves as counsel of record for the Democratic Party and its candidates; its political law group is headed by top campaign lawyer Bob Bauer. Perkins Coie represented John Kerry's presidential campaign and recently represented the Presidential campaign of Barack Obama. The firm represented Christine Gregoire in the prolonged litigation surrounding her 2004 Washington State gubernatorial election, and a team of Perkins lawyers headed by Marc Elias is currently representing Al Franken in his legal battle over the 2008 Senatorial election in Minnesota. The firm also represents the Democratic Leadership Council, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

In 2006, Perkins Coie made headlines when, led by partner Harry Schneider, it represented Salim Ahmed Hamdan, the alleged driver and bodyguard of Osama Bin Laden. The case made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court, where the Bush Administration's Military Commissions were held unconstitutional.

No wonder Mr. Daniel leaked this to the Associated Press.

No wonder he wants Mrs. Palin to settle, rather than to go before the ethics panel.

He's just trying to be fair.

But don't you think the AP should give its reader a little hint as to his motives? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't you think the AP could just once google their sources? Or at least figure out bloggers will and expose their bias?

LOL, the more Palin hits the front page the better. They are making her a victim, it can’t hurt her. The more she is victimized the more sympathy she’ll get. I want to see her in attack mode with no teleprompters. One thing she has is Guts, and more balls than most of Congress. I hope I live long enough to see her sworn in Jan. 2012

Yahoo loves to quote them as gospel, but then again Yahoo is run by an openly homosexual management and as domestic partner benefits. The Advocate rates them as the #1 place in Silicon Vally to work for. Must be nice to be straight guy working there with all the tail gunners prancing around the halls. Reason I say this is we all know how politically open and intelligent homosexuals are, like an open book</sarcasm> .

It was more than obvious the left wing brown shirts were hasseling her. Anyone could easily figure that out, but the press didn't alert the American people in her defense the way it should have, or would have before it became a useless, left wing, propaganda extremist group.
The press was protected in order to expose corruption, but today it does the opposite. It assists it.
In my opinion, these frivolous lawsuits should lead to disbarment. What they're doing is unethical.

"and recently represented the Presidential campaign of Barack Obama"

Perkins Coie seems to be the primary law firm used by Obama for America. During the last quarter that law firm received $270,754.18 out of a total of $276,254.16 paid for legal services.

I wonder if he's in charge of defending Obomas original birth certificate, too. Oboma has spent almost one million on legal fees so far to keep it out of the public hands (for some reason).

Sounds like a case for one of those ‘Fact Check’ stories AP wants to become famous for.

(the one about Obamas speech last night was hilarious because The One was 0-3 on ‘facts’ in his speech even according to the State run AP)
