ACORN? I’m shocked! /sarcasm
This belongs in “EDITORIALS,” not “FRONT PAGE NEWS”
calling Dr. Acorn, calling Dr.Acorn, Dr. Acorn?
This is why I’m not in medical school. It’s why I’m now even questioning my chosen field (speech path) and whether or not I want to stay in the medical community.
I want to help people, I want to work for the greater good, but not at the expense of ME! I want to do this on my own terms. If the only doctors and medical professionals we have are ones the gov’t decided upon, I fear that people who would have been great doctors will instead be in some other field.
Some parts of the Third World have great respect for the elderly. Obama deathcare is on the lower rungs of Third World health care.
Race based admission policies in medical progams such as nursing are S.O.P. around here. My wife completed the required prerequisites for the nursing program offered at the the local branch of the state-run community college over two years ago but has yet to be admitted because of racial preferences in the admission process. What’s frustating is the fact that in many cases, the people that are admitted under this policy are often unprepared academicaly and/or display poor communication skills (no english) and end up dropping out of the program. When this occurs the program slot is empty for the semester. Because of this situation she as well as several other people have changed majors and gone into medical administration. I don’t see how a program run in this fashion can ever produce enough competent nurses to meet the needs of today.
Now this is where he shows himself to be a complete liar.
Wanting to help people without health insurance turns into the Soros style of remaking the world into his vision.
