Obama is polling terribly on this, Rahm called Gates and read him the riot act, he promised to shovel some Stimulus money to Gates somehow as ‘reparations’ for this inconvenience, and that’s the end of it.
That’s how I envision what led to Gates making his plea to “move on” from this.
He wants to move on before the truth comes out.
It sure sounds like he’s being fed language by the Obama “not about me” administration.
Yup.
As Rush said last week, we will (or has) been thrown under the bus.
