I agree with you. I have watched this thing with interest since the campaign and even though there is definitely some sticking points in regards to the released COLB as well as the issue of Zero's lawyers spending millions to fight the legal cases...I keep coming back to the birth announcements in the newspaper. If he wasn't born in Hawaii, why would there be a birth announcement?

I have yet to see a plausible explanation for this fact.

Has anyone seen an original newspaper, or are these opinions based upon images seen on the Internet? ( Just wondering.)

Two very likely explanations:

The grandparents arranged for a COLB. ( A COLB can be issued for a child born out of state or out of the nation.) The Hawaii Department of Records routinely reported it to the newspaper.

Or..

Obama’s parents or grandparents reported it to the newspaper themselves. Geeze! In my county, the families will **pay** to take out a quarter page ad to announce a birth, death, anniversary, or even a birthday. What's so odd about that?? Nothing! Why would it be odd for Obama’s family to phone in and report his birth to the newspaper?

Finally, it has been proven that Obama’s parents never resided at the address shown in the newspaper ad now circulating in the Internet. And..oddly...Twins born on the same day don't show up. What happened to the birth announcement of these twins? Now that's odd!

but how about announcing his birth to the rest of the family while he was in Kenya.

I am in America but have family in the UK.
When my son was born I put an article in the paper in the UK.

Then there is the other reason.
She wanted her son to be an America so she could come back here with him.
She did not want him to stay in Kenya.
So she gets the announcement in the paper and says he was born there in HI to the authority and says it was Doc who delivered him but they did not know his name.

Bingo on her return she tells the officials this and she gets the B/C

Fact is I do not know if he is or not but all he has to do is show the thing instead of keep fighting it.
Why does he fight it?
Why does two of his own family say that they saw him born in Kenya?
Why are the Kenyans convinced that he was born there and they have his birth place for tourists to see?
How did he get to Pakistan in 81 because you could not have an American passport back then.
Why is ALL his records from the past sealed and refuses to talk about them

Remember how he loved his granny
Remember how he stopped the campaign so he could see her AFTER her hospital visit and stay
This was the same time he flew back when the court was looking at this issue.
He loved her so much he goes AFTER hospital and NEVER GOES TO THE FUNERAL
