Steven (the spewer of this drivel) is as full of sh!t as a Christmas goose. From Kennedy forward, when taxes go down prosperity (and revenues) go up.
Beyond all that, taxes (money) keeps gubmint functioning. The more we can starve them, the better. Smaller gubmint is better gubmint ... at all times and in all places.
Actually it goes back a lot further than that. Andrew Mellon during the Coolidge administration cut them from the 70's imposed by Wilson to 25% and saw revenues increase dramatically. It works every time it's tried but it's very inconvenient for the advocates of social engineering thru the tax system.
