Will Florida ban National Health Care?
10th Amendment Center ^ | Michael Boldin

On the heels of a successful state-level resistance to the 2005 Real ID Act, activists and state legislators alike are focusing their efforts on state governments as a way to resist new federal programs.

The latest? Health Care.

In response to what some opponents see as a Congress that doesn’t represent their interests, State Legislators are looking to the nearly-forgotten American political tradition of nullification as a way to reject any potential national health care program that may be coming from Washington.

The most recent effort comes from Florida State Senator Carey Baker and State Representative Scott Plakon, who this week filed a proposed State Constitutional Amendment (HJR37) as a means to prevent Floridians from being affected by any Federal Health Care Legislation. If approved by the legislature, Florida residents could be voting on it as early as 2010.

HJR37 would deny the ability of any new law to impose demands, restrictions or penalties on health care choices on Floridians. Versions of proposed federal health care reform legislation have included insurance coverage mandates, and certain penalties on employers who fail to provide employee health insurance.

Florida tells Barry Zero to piss off. Sad that it has to come to this but still outstanding to see local politicians standing up for the people against tyranny.

Stewie Griffin did say that Florida was “God’s waiting room.” So it’s no surprise to see Florida undertake this, considering their elderly population.

‘Florida now.’

It would be neat if Florida pulled off a ban on this god-awful healthcare plan. Florida voted for Bambi in ‘08. Talk about buyers remorse!

This is coming to you courtesy of the US Congress and the Fuhrer. It is for the “unwashed masses.” Politicians, of course, will have the best care your tax dollars can provide for them and their family. Please take the time to send this to everyone you know and ask that they please forward it to their address list. Pray that the truth gets out.

FACIST Health Care

THE ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE OBAMACARE
Written by Dr. Dave Janda
Thursday, 23 July 2009

As a physician who has authored books on preventative health care, I was given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington last Friday (7/17).

The presentation was entitled Health Care Reform, The Power & Profit of Prevention, and I was gratified that it was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of “reform” as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. Here is the link to the 1,018 page document:

http://edlabor.house.gov/documents/111/pdf/publications/AAHCA-BillText-071409.pdf

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the above plan. First, however, it should be clear that the same warning notice must be placed on The ObamaCare Plan as on a pack of cigarettes: Consuming this product will be hazardous to your health.

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan’s method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician.

The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board “will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment.”

Translation.....if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer.....dream on if you think you will get treated.....pick out your coffin.

Oh, you say this could never happen? Sorry.... this is the same model they use in Britain.

The plan mandates that there will be little or no advanced treatments to be available in the future. It creates The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research, the purpose of which is “to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs.” Yes, this is to be the law.

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator For Health Information and Technology.

This “ coordinator” will “monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following government guidelines that are deemed appropriate.” It goes on to say.....”Doctors and hospitals not adhering to guidelines will face penalties.”

According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.

So according to The ObamaCare Plan....if your doctor saves your life you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow -up appointments. I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union.

Section 102 has the Orwellian title, “Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage.” What this section really mandates is that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes - e.g., if you lose or change your job, retire from your job and become a senior, graduate from college and get your first job. Yes, illegal.

When Mr. Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them topressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible, a blogger from Maine referenced an Investors Business Daily article that claimed
Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance.

He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” Mr. Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.”

Then there is Section 1233 of The ObamaCare Plan, devoted to “Advanced Care Planning.” After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner.

This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this session will include, “how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate
hospice care.” It is no wonder The Obama Administration does not like my emphasis on Prevention. For Mr. Obama, prevention is the “enemy” as people would live longer.

I rest my case. The ObamaCare Plan is hazardous to the health of every American. After I finished my Capitol Hill presentation, I was asked by a Congressman in the question-answer session: “I’ll be doing a number of network interviews on the Obama Health Care Plan. If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan what should I answer.”

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, sad but truthful. I told him that one word is FASCIST.

Then I added, “I hope you’ll have the courage to use that word, Congressman. No other word is more appropriate.”

Charlene Crist would veto it from some bath house er...I mean tanning bed.

I hope the state of FL reps and senators have the guts to move on this. Open up offshore drilling and the state is self sufficient. Grab the oil before Cuba and the Chi Coms steal it. The oil companies will do less damage to the reefs and oceans than the cruise ships.

I suspect all of what you say is true. One thing I've been utterly confused about is the reluctance of many states to tap into the black gold mines, particularly offshore. I'm not convinced it's all about greenies. I just have a suspicion there's something else at work but it's hard to fathom what it might be. Are these states looking to the future when oil will be, say, $200 a barrel? Rainy day money? Money in the bank, er, water so to speak?

In that movie with Richard Gere as a defense lawyer “the rainy day is here.”

I think the idea was to hold our energy in reserve and buy offshore reserves cheap while developing the conomies of countries with oil. This would allow us to sell them jets, power plants, computers etc.

The problem is the Saudis have used the money to invade the west with mosques and Islamic “settlers” plus buy lots of western politicians. The states with nat resources will need to start tapping em fast if they go down the 10th Amendment path.

THIS IS THE SOCIALIST HOSPITAL WORKERS UNION THUG LIAR , HUSSEIN BARAKAS POLITICAL DIRECTOR, THE GOEBBELS LIKE PROPAGANDIST WHO WRITES OBAMAS SPEECHES AND IS BEHIND THE SCENES PUSHING THE QUICK PASSAGE OF SOCIALIZED MEDICINE TO BENEFIT THE SEIU

Politicians and strategists praise Patrick Gaspard highly, although he stays away from the limelight.

"Patrick is the best political mind of his generation in New York and maybe the nation," says Kevin Sheekey, who as Michael Bloomberg's right-hand-man has frequently worked and battled with Gaspard.

"I wouldn't dispute that," said David Axelrod, Obama's chief strategist and Gaspard's cohort on the campaign trail. When reminded that such a title could be bestowed on Axelrod himself, the strategist said he was "happy to cede that" to Gaspard.

The Washington Post, among others, has announced that a longtime labor operative of Barack Obama's, Patrick Gaspard, will be named Obama's White House political director.

Gaspard served as national political director for much of Obama's general election campaign and was named deputy director of personnel for the transition effort. Prior to his work with Obama, Gaspard was the lead political operative for the 1199 branch of the Service Employees International Union, a huge and hugely influential union representing health care workers in New York. He spent the 2004 general election as the national field director for America Coming Together.

Gaspard was featured prominently in Ryan Lizza's recent New Yorker piece detailing how Obama won. Of his job interview with the Illinois Senator, Gaspard recalled Obama saying: "I think that I'm a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I'll tell you right now that I'm gonna think I'm a better political director than my political director."

Not to mention refineries, which we haven't built here in, what, 30 years??? Something doesn't add up. America has done little if any development of "in house" energy in decades, allowing us to become dependent on furriners; some of whom don't really like us much. Curious. Another suspicion of mine is the greenies are also cover for this foolishness, but again why, and to what end?

Much of Washington DC is owned by the Saudis. The Saudis revenue on oil is about $800 billion a year and they net abount $500 billion. Add in Dubai, Aba Dhabi, Kuwait and a few others. My guess is they NET at least $1 trillion a year.

We have more energy than the Saudis in shale oil, coal diesel not to mention offshore, geothermal, methane from permafrost, a lot of nat gas, the list goes on.

The Saudis own much of Congress and the White Hut. I think they also own most of the green groups and Gore.

How do you control countries - buy politicians. It is fairly cheap. Soros has gotten very wealthy doing it as well.

The states have an obligation to protect its citizens and this obligation preceded the US Constitution. We have not yielded this obligation or this right to state help to a corrupt and incompetent Federal government. It is time to clip the wings of this Federal monster. Revolt or secede...
