Wow: Black cop in Gates arrest sends letter to Obama about being called an “Uncle Tom”;
hot air ^

A black sergeant who was at the home of Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. when he was arrested says hes been maligned as an Uncle Tom for supporting the actions of the white arresting officer. Cambridge Sgt. Leon Lashley gave a letter to Sgt. James Crowley to give to President Barack Obama during their so-called beer summit with Gates on Thursday night at the White House. In the letter, which was also sent to CNN, Lashley says Gates may have caused grave and potentially irreparable harm to the struggle for racial harmony.

Memo to Sgt. Lashley: Obama thinks you’re an Uncle Tom too.

I think Sgt Crowley did well delivering a subtle message for those in 'Blue' today. I'll be looking for Blue Moon at the store this weekend to grab one to toast the Sgt. and his team.
Okole maluna!

I cannot believe the esteemed professor would make such a crude and hurtful remark.
He's a close personal friend of President Hope&Change, for heaven's sake!

Thanks for posting the link. I really wanted to hear it. I also listen to the video of all the other cops talking, & its impressive.

Nah....the whole shebang was symbolism, My, form without substance. Originally it was two on one, then Obama brought in Plugs so it'd look fair.
Five will get you ten, Crowley doesn't choose Blue Moon at the local watering hole. East of Chicago and north of Foggy Bottom, Sam Adams is on tap everywhere.

What a brave move on the part of Sgt. Lashley. This whole incident seems to be growing rather than fading away.

Hooray for Sgts. Lashley and Crowley of Cambridge.
How could Gates ignore a statement like that?
Beautifully direct and to the point.
I noticed how Lemon tried to (unnecessarily) correct Lashley’s grammar.
To: penelopesire
You're right. A thread on Gate's lawyer (Ogletree) is in order. Add another radical to the list of B.O.'s friends. Also did you know this:
Ogletree gained national prominence in 1991, when he served as Anita Hills attorney during the controversial Senate confirmation hearings at which Hill accused Thomas of sexual harassment.

I am sure that one of the White House’s mass of shredders made short work of this letter....before it even made it to Barry.

Yes, Lemon did.
It was perfectly grammatically correct.
It was in the letter to be given to
Obama.
I’m so glad he released it to the media.
I wouldn’t bet on Obama relating that
info to Gates ... would you ?

A black man can’t even do a good job without being called an “Uncle Tom” by the leftist haters.

I suspect the Beer Garden party was a prevent defense...to keep the Cambridge Cops from releasing video taken from a police cruiser of the events that occurred outside of the house. We have single shots of the arrest, one with Sgt. Lashley in the foreground and two officers cuffing a screaming Gates. There's probably audio as well, substantiating the disturbance which led to the arrest.
Hell's bells, My, two weeks after the event it's still in the news, still an exposé of elitist mentality by both Gates and Obama which they wish would go away.....and the cops still have the tapes.

Does Sgt. Lashley imagine that Obama willl give a rat’s rear end about his plight? Lashley’s so ‘middle class’, after all.
