I wonder how LED lights would perform. There is very little heat and electricty usage for the lumen output. They last for 10s of thousands of hours too. Supposedly they have a good spectrum.
But I haven’t seen anything about it. Of course, I guess I should google the dope growing forums.
A Japanese inventor solved that problem with light tubes, skylight domes which have a reflective shaft which dumps outside light anywhere you direct the tube(s).
