Have to say; that Maggie Thatcher's voice is not the sound of tea and crumpets. . .
. . .but rather; a genuine voice that is able to convey readily; her intelligence; compassion; and not only her Conservative values; but her steadfast leadership as well. And there nothing 'inauthentic' about Thatcher either; despite her educating her voice for enhanced public presence.
So yes; hoping Sara will cultivate her voice so as to convery more of the same as per 'Maggie'; and it is not asking her to be 'inauthentic' either. Just using her talent; to hone her communication skills.
Nothing disingenuious about it. It is using her 'smarts' however and recognizing her strengths; and finding ways to share them; and recognizing what could be - and is by some - seen as a weakness. She is all grown up now; no need to sound like a cheer-leading high schooler.
That said, I love Sarah; and want her to succeed; and while no one is pefect; there is always room for improving oneself; albeit; it takes a bit of humility and wisdom to recongnize that. Particularly when one feels a call to step out; so as to 'lead' a nation out of the wilderness.
I trust Sarah to be in charge of Sarah. Do you think the elitists would like her better for following their advice? I am from the south, but in my memory her voice remind me of my grandma who lived in PA for quite a while. I like Sarah’s voice.
