Keep in mind this was published in April of 1961 from a Missouri newspaper. Apparently the usage of the "Republic of Kenya" was not uncommon. Excellent find -- but we shouldn't expect those blind to the truth to actually read it.

Apparently the usage of the "Republic of Kenya" was not uncommon. Kenya acknowledged itself as a Republic with its Constitution in 1963.
