The folks over at Media Matters are going negative ... against CNN. Specifically, they've bought airtime on MSNBC, Fox News and, ahem, CNN to run an ad criticizing the venerable cable network for Lou Dobbs' habit of treating the Birther conspiracy movement as legitimate. Here's the fun part: They've bought time during Dobbs' show. As Greg Sargent points out, that puts CNN in the position of airing an anti-Dobbs during his show, or killing it and creating a bigger story.
My first question was: Are they running the ad in the south? The answer according to Sargent is they're running it in New York, Washington, and Atlanta. (Media and political capitals and CNN HQ).

They’re no doubt outraged that Obama lied about his birth in Kenya. Now the word is out and it is only a matter of time till the manure hits the big fans.
By running ads they themselves are making the issue bigger!
Meanwhile the networks and billboard companies allow no birth certificate commerials or adverts...free speech alive and well on the left as always... /s

I visualize..Obama saying that yes he was born in Kenya, but he didn’t make that decision and he is still a natural born and raised american and that he won’t step down.

First of all it brings more attention to the issue. Second if anyone looks into the matter, they'll discover that Dobbs is 100% correct and the premise of the commercial can be destroyed in a nanosecond by the indisputable fact that Obama still hasn't produced a birth certificate. His campaign put a jpeg up on a political hack website.
No matter how much noise his dutiful drones in the media make, they just can't get around the simple fact of life that Obama absloutely refuses to produce a certified long-form birth certificate.
If they are so confident that Obama was born where he says he was, then why would they spend money on an Ad to silence someone who is asking for proof? Why don’t they just ask Obama to show the Original BC and get this out of the way?
