Yes, he is expressing the frustration that many feel.

He speaks as someone who saw himself and immediate family as common sense voters with core conservative values and wondering how in the heck did everybody else vote for Zero?

The one aspect of his call that I did not agree with was his dumping on all conservatives at the beginning of his call.

It’s a given that there are always 33% nut jobs who would vote for anybody on the D ticket - even a Socialist. But the 33% hard core conservatives didn’t put Zero in office.

The trick, as Rush just indirectly said, is in getting the middle 33% out to vote for your own guy when you have a poor ticket to attract them.

You’re right. I agree with that. I did enjoy when he told people to stop watching Idol and Crab Fishermen and learn about what’s going on. But hell, preaching to the choir - DH and I have been preaching this for years to deaf ears.

God help us.

McLame was the "mushy middle" dream ticket...if they didn't jump on board with McLame, any attempts to court them is a waste of time.
