Fannie and Freddie are a scam and make work projects filled with ACORN like employees who are less productive than postal workers.
The fact that we have two govt run companies financing 60% or more to the residental mortgages in the US is crazy. The Govt should get out of the mortgage business because the politicians can’t run anything profitable or accountable.
The banks lending is all controled by these govt entities.
Just wait til we see how much more AIG and GM are going to cost.
