Many of the people running unions are there to line their pockets. I saw it up close, in my involvements with unions. They would campaign for a union office, ostensibly to act on grievances for employees. Then they would use the power of the office to curry favor with management and obtain promotions for themselves and their friends, thereby earning much more money. Some of those friends ended up in upper management. It takes two to dance this tango. The bad people running the unions, and the bad people in management running companies. But I agree, overall, unions are destroying businesses in our country.
The same with the teachers unions. We need to get conservatives into these and take back our educational system. And we need more profs in the colleges as well. The leftists have been running all this stuff in the background for years leading up to getting one of theirs into the WH. Now that it has happened, people are starting to see the danger of what we have ignored/tolerated for years. We are starting to wake up. Obama may be the best thing that has happened in a while. Time to lance this boil.
I don’t know about others on this board but I guarantee if some card carrying labor union pussy ever attempted to assault me they would get face full of my fist.
The day after this happened, HHS Secretary Sebelius made a conference call to the SEIU, praising them for their support. This is nothing less than Administration approval of thuggery in repression of free speech. She must go.

I’ve written this a few times already, but when I went to a Republican rally during the last election, the guy organizing the demonstration outside was wearing an SEIU jacket.

SEIU Local 880 (which represents workers in Illinois) and Local 100 (representing New Orleans, Texas, and Arkansas) are both run by the often-in-trouble “community group” ACORN — an organization that has been tied to government fraud, Teamsters election fraud, and recurring voter fraud. Local 100 is run by Wade Rathke, ACORN’s head organizer and a chief strategist in the multi-union PR campaign attacking Wal-Mart.
The SEIU seeks to unionize just about anyone. In 1997 Local 790 organized strippers from the Lusty Lady peep show in San Francisco.

In this video, several of them are cursing and threatening the very young-sounding lady who is filming. And then some chunky white wench hits her and smashes the camera into her face, breaking her viewing screen but not the lens.
This young gal has the presence of mind to keep on filming as the police arrive and begin corralling the SEIU thugs.
Film is not the greatest, but this is more of the story of what happened that night and who is responsible for the violence. SEIU and Democrat thugs, of course. Here's the video link.
