Obama's Czars: Shadow Government or ACORN Clone
My Medium Rare ^ | 08/08/09 | Mike Rarey

Posted on 08/08/2009 6:15:33 AM PDT by Mike Rarey

There has been much speculation by conservatives as to the purpose of Obama’s appointment of so many czars, never mind the question of legality. Were they created simply to guide their respective areas of the private sector into socialism? Are they there to enforce Obama’s will without having to go through Congress? Or is it a more sinister plan to have them there to coerce others? All three of those theories have some merit and to some degree all three probably coexist. However, the big picture seems to come into better focus, at least for me, when I compare the organizational structure and purpose of ACORN to that of Obama’s cabinet and czars.

If you have paid attention to the investigations of ACORN and it’s multi-faceted organization, coupled with it’s built in defense mechanism, you can see how the top leaders of ACORN can get away with questionable and sometimes illegal conduct. For example, look at the well-known voter registration fraud charges filed against ACORN. ACORN claims it wasn’t them, they didn’t know it was happening, and blamed the actions on rogue employees. This way, they are insulated from the act.

In the latest Obama gaff regarding the snitch email snafu, the action was blamed on a rogue healthcare czar, namely Nancy DeParle. It was she that instituted the entire snitch brigade monstrosity, not Obama. He knew nothing about it. In fact, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that the White House is in no way connected to the White House website, so how could he have known? I guess we’re left to believe that Obama’s cabinet and czars are as transparent with him as he is with us.

This isn’t the first time that Obama or one of his appointed secretaries has had to blame an underling for something that came out. Remember the Homeland Security profiling paper on possible terror threats warning of disgruntled veterans and those who disagreed with Obama? That wasn’t Obama’s doing. It wasn’t even Janet Napolitano’s doing. It was someone I don’t even recall being named. If you look at the total lack of real job or leadership experience in some of Obama’s appointments, you can certainly surmise that they have been put in place to be expendable. They are basically human shields. The fact that many of them share socialist agendas with Obama may tend to be the reason they volunteer to protect him as opposed to having any real power for themselves.

Now, if you look at the complex web used to hide ACORN’s finances, you can also see why Obama has created such intricate, confusing organizational structures for his stimulus bills, bailouts and the healthcare takeover. And like ACORN, it certainly isn’t to make the process more efficient.

We should stop calling them “Czars.” You can only have one “Czar.”

Be precise, call them what they are: COMMISSARS.

The only good thing about ACORN is that when the next Republican president is elected he or she can seize them so their wealth can be redistributed.

Glenn Beck has been hammering this issue for months.

He's recently introduced a new like-minded operation (I think with Soros/Podesta involed some kind of way) called, "Apollo" created by the Tides Foundation.

Scary stuff and real Patriots are needed.

(Wiki) Commissar is the English transliteration of an official title (Russian: комисса́р) used in Russia after the Bolshevik revolution. The title was mostly associated with a number of Cheka and military functions in many Bolshevik and Soviet government military forces during the Russian Civil War; the White Army widely used the collective term bolsheviks and commissars for their opponents. After that, it was mostly used for People's Commissar (or narkom) for government ministers, and political commissar in the military. It is based on similar titles in a variety of languages (such as commissaire in French, Kommissar in German) most often attached to a criminal investigator in the police; they are usually translated as commissioner. The term was also used in some other Communist countries. Variants People's Commissar A People's Commissar (informally abbreviated narkom) is a government official serving in a Council of the People's Commissars. This title was first used by the Government of the Russian SFSR and then copied among the many Soviet and Bolshevik-controlled states in the Russian Civil War. The government departments headed by a People's Commissar were called People's Commissariat. People's Commissars and People's Commissariats were renamed Minister and Ministries in 1946 by the Decree of the Supreme Soviet. Political commissar A political commissar was a high-ranking functionary at a military headquarters who held coequal rank and authority with the military commander of the unit. Political commissars were established to control the military forces by the Communist party. No military order might be issued which did not have the prior approval of both the commander and the commissar. Although lower-level political officers never received the same military training as commanding officers, most commissars were high-ranking party bosses and never had any military training or talent. Following the disasters of 1942, the political command was abolished. Political officers only survived at the regimental level, in the form of a Deputy for Political Matters, and at the front (Soviet military jargon for an army) level, where they formed the Military Councils with respective military commanders.

Not Obama, he has one overseeing every department.

Why aren't republicans demanding that NO policy be implemented by these czars without a bill being put through the senate?

Yup. IIRC, Glenn said not to worry too much about ACORN and SEIU, it's the coming AmeriCorp that will be the monster.

I hope people realize that these protests and tea parties are about more than health care... Obama is effectively overthrowing the US government...and, Cap & Trade is coming too. (ETC)

You need to be phoning and emailing your congressman about your tax money being given to these THUG organizations that are fighting against you. This is CRAZY!!

zero has the army (ACORN) and the generals (czars).

He's working on the armament.

Personally ... I don't expect to die a natural death (I'm 61), and I don't expect my death to be quiet.

Paranoid?

I was told 45 years ago ... paranoia is the first step to awareness.

There may never be another Republican president.

The time to act is now...no more putting things off. The fight is right now.

Everyone must do something everyday to defend the Republic.

I'm 65 1/2 and feel the same...I'm prepared to make a lot of noise before I go.

"Why aren't republicans demanding that NO policy be implemented by these czars without a bill being put through the senate?'

Because congress "delegated" the authority to create the policies used within those agencies to those agencies when congress created those agencies. The review of those policies will not be done by any over-site committee as long as the Democrats control everything. Ergo, no remedy with congress.

The only alternative is that for someone with standing to bring suit on the questionable policy issue in the Federal Court system.

We need our own organization that can respond to these kind of efforts in an organized fashion.

Our best hope is to circle the wagons at the state level and leverage the 10th amendment against the feds. The states best strategy against the Fed would be to require businesses to remit all taxes to the state treasury and have the state send funds to Washington. They could act as a broker and provide an anonymous “shield” for taxpayers against federal threats.

If the fed threatens to withhold funds due the state then the state can threaten to withhold tax receipts. The Fed often threatens to withhold funds when they don’t agree with state legislation, which is clearly unconstitutional in many situations.

It’s all about leverage and currently we are powerless against the Fed. We need a Governor and like minded legislature to stand up to the growing bureaucracy.

What Zero and his minions don't understand, is that as the boomers get older, a great deal are Vietnam veterans who have been trained to fight against a guerrilla war. I don't think Zero has an idea what is going on outside the beltway.

And while filming say for the camera something like,

This behavior is unacceptable. This country doesn't value this kind of behavior. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. etc.

The whole world is watching...The whole world is watching...

Shame? LOL. Don't you know that shame is obsolete...it's one of those 'acting White' thangs that belongs to another era.

When these thugs start kicking your butt...yell loud enough, I'll be just below the horizon. (Saddled up and ready)
