Civil unrest grips U.S.
Homeland Stupidity Blog ^ | August 10, 2009 | Michael Hampton

The debate over health care reform has turned violent in the last week as protesters on both sides of the issue clashed in cities across the country, revealing a long-simmering civil unrest.

{Cut}

As it turns out, it was the so-called liberals, actually union thugs, instigating the fights. In Tampa, SEIU goons attacked senior citizens who came out because they quite rightly feel that the health care reform proposal threatens their ability to obtain health care.

{Cut}

Make no mistake, the civil unrest brewing here is not exclusively over the health care issue. That is simply the spark which made it visible. A deep division runs through this country along ideological lines, with one group believing they have the right to the labor of the other, and that other group, after having lived with the parasites on their backs for so long, finally beginning to perceive where it must end. The parasites are obviously unhappy about the possibility that their hosts will finally say “Enough!” and cast them off, and they have become violent. Thus labor union members viciously attack senior citizens, and the media parasites pretend not to notice who threw the first punch.

The parasites, masquerading as saviors of the human race and offering “free health care for all,” along with all of the other “free” stuff which has nearly cannibalized the productive workers who are forced to pay for it, are not likely to give up their ideology, since it benefits them by giving them power and control in addition to “free” stuff. The workers, now seeing their very lives placed in jeopardy by the policies of people like Ben Bernanke and Barack Obama, seem indisposed to continue quietly suffering. Unless one side or the other gives up, this state of affairs can only end one way.

Good links at article.

Had a Congress critter hold a brief meeting with some healthcare providers in my area. Wasn't advertised and only 1 local news station was on hand to get film and get comments from the few present.

Everything was low key.

Were you there?

What was proposed to the providers? Your post about parasites seems to have nothing to do with your comment.

bert, here’s a link. Yeah, I was there just not present in the room. Check out the video. I have dial-up and can’t spend the next 4 hours waiting for it to load:

Burton, docs share healthcare concerns

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Congressman Dan Burton (R) convened a meeting Monday afternoon with a number of physicians, concerned about the direction health care reform is taking.

The meeting was a quiet one, unlike many town hall meetings around the country, but the doctors are worried nonetheless.

This is the bottom line. Just as the Tea Parties are not really or solely about taxes. The Jeannie is out of the bottle and unless the left, liberals and/or Marxist are going to back off she ain't goin' back in.

Live Free or Die.

Wait till our de facto president gets started on the amnesty fight. The SEIU and ACORN are going to be big players.

It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Everyone keeps talking about revolution and civil war, just think on it a minute, there are only 545 people who are really central in this guilt. Why have 50,000 funerals when 500 would do the job?

I liked it when Glenn Beck did the 52 card pickup yesterday with the deck of cards and said, Folks, in 2010, we are not going to pick these cards up, we are going to get a new deck.

I think the tension was already there and building. People are rejecting the legislative strategy:

1) Sky is falling because /fill in the blank/. We must act now.
2) Activists, lobbyists, Bugs Bunny write a 1000 pages of freedom robbing legislation which no one has read.
3) We must act right now, we don’t have time to debate. Afterall, the sky is falling.
4) House passes massive freedom robbing legislation with billions upon billions of dollars in deficit spending.

Then they move to the hot button issue of Healthcare. Over 100 hundred years of fighting between the socialists and the freedom lovers on this issue.

Before this powder keg is even safely contained, Obozo brings up amnesty.

Violence, brought to you by the POTUS.

I reckon it depends on where it’s at. Some places suspend the 2nd Ammendment when you walk through the door.

The results of apathy to generations of abuse of our Freedoms, and disrespect for the purpose of our founding contract by Leftist criminals.

Apparently the tide is once again turning in the favor of those who value Freedom, but what damage will have been done during this period of exploitation by the Left?

Seems the Left gains a few paces to every one they lose each time they succeed in gaining the power they misconstrue as mandate to abuse.

” just think on it a minute, there are only 545 people who are really central in this guilt. “

Yeah — shoot yourself in the foot, and then blame the gun...

Those 545 people didn’t ‘just appear’ out of thin air and become arrogant and non-responsive...

We elected ‘em, and then we demanded that they ‘take care of us’.....

Oops....

The Dems are going to pass a bill. It will be as radical as they can get through the Senate with 50 votes. They are completely tone deaf on this and do not understand the anger brewing in the country. Arrogance is the watchword. 0care will be shoved up our a$$es about the time of the Tea protests in DC.
