I’m going to see Rothman this week in NJ as well. He is a total liar first of all. He will vote any way he it TOLD to vote by the party PERIOD.
Here’s my problem . I’ve seen a list of all the negative things about the health care bill all over the internet. They give the page and sometimes the line. YET , I really can’t see what they are talking about in the bill itself. EXAMPLE . Someone on WABC NY tonight said that page 16 in the House bill says you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP YOUR PRIVATE INSURANCE. I read it and I dont see it saying that specifically. We can’t site pages and lines and not be EXACTLY sure of what it says.
Seens to me either it is or it is not . Does the bill say illegal aliens will be covered or not ? Or is this thing so vague that no one can prove it either way .
These 2 points alone will sink it IF we can point out exactly where is says these things ..CLEARLY

It appears that Congressman Rothman can read the TEA leaves.
Scott has done telephone townhalls for quite some time now, and he has aides holding meetings in local borough halls every month. And to my knowledge he’s never voted “wrong.” He is a gem.
Yes, i think it was his first town hall meeting. He has 10 scheduled. This one was actually yesterday I believe.
Rothman comes across as a reasonable, very nice guy. But when push comes to shove he is a RAT and will come down on whatever side the party elite tell him to. He’s not a stupid man, either. He knows he can’t afford to say he’s for this monstrosity of a bill. But he’s fooling fewer and fewer people.

he’ll be in my town (rutherford) tomorrow evening and i plan on being there for it. i’ve had the pleasure of voicing my displeasure to Rep. Rothman at our annual Labor Day street fair over the years, so this should be fun.
Here is the deal. They will scrap this plan , come up with a watered down plan . Once it is passed they will amend the hell out of it when the heat is off and the dust settles. They qill sneak in what they want a piece at a time.
We HAVE to stress that we want NO fed involvement in health care ZERO , NADA. Im going to speak to him about the bigger picture . The FED is WAY WAY WAY out of bounds already , taking over ever aspect of this country . Health Care is only a piece of the puzzle.The BIG plan is Obama’s Marxist agenda.

Yea , you’re just quoting the LIST thats all over the internet. We need to see PAGE 50 and MAKE DAMN SURE it says that in no uncertain terms. I looked up a page that didn’t even exist in the House Bill.

Yea I can do that but there is 1000 sites with this LISt that claims it say VERY CLEARLY that illegals will get covered. All I’m doing is playing devils advocate here. Show me where is says that CLEARLY.AGAIN , we cannot get sloppy here. I don’t want to stand up in front of everyone tomorrow and say PAGE 50 says so and so and it really doesn’t

I hope I’m not being misunderstood here. I’m not doubting these things but that list doesn’t sit well with me . If everything that on the list is ACTUALLY in the bill then I doubt there would be ANY argument over this. It would mean that it would be soo black and white .
AGAIN if the bill ACTUALLY SAYS the following then why didnt someone stand in front of Obama tonight and say YOU ARE A LIAR here it is RIGHT in the bILL
