"$200 per kid is not a whole lot of money. At least the kids can go back to school with a new pair of shoes, one new outfit, and a new backpack."

First off you are assuming that the money is going for that. I'm quite sure that everyone interviewed crossed their hearts and hoped to die that this money was only going to be used for their children's school needs. And as far as Mr. Robertson's organization that you donated to, it was just that, a donation that you chose to make to a great charity who guaranteed that the money went to where it was suppose to. This is mine and your tax dollars given out to a select group with no checks or balances on what amounts to an honor system. I think it is nothing but a handout for votes especially when it is put on what amounts to a state credit card that can be retrieved as cash.

Nope, and every single one of them is waiting in line for that cash just so they can spend it on school supplies...

Buy off the poor to rise up against the working class

I got news for you: the working class is THE base of Chavez, Ahamdenijad, and Hamas's support (although the latter also has the support of the petit bourgeosie as well). The proles are the base of most left-wing movements. While we have many white protestant proles in the South who vote GOP for cultural reasons, the "working class" in my neck of the woods votes Dem.

More like rise up against the bourgeosie. Leave the "working class" to the socialists...

Why limit it to beer? Some shoppers might prefer wine.

What's the word?: THUNDERBIRD!!!

Actually, the Da Silva administration has been giving block grants to the poor instead of sending it via Social Security. It turned out the SS bureaucracy in Brazil was skimming so much off the top that the final benefit check was rather small.

I have no problem with no strings attached, I just don't want said people to whine when they have a $500 peacoat yet no apartment.

Why not encourage the underclass and the schlub-class to have less children, while also deporting every single illegal in this country? Prevent the fatsos from breeding, and we will have a better nation.

Thunderbird, a classic wine, it rivals the finest of the premier cru classé de Château Margaux.

And don’t forget, Champipple, a fine blend of Ripple and ginger ale and Cripple, Cream Soda and Ripple, courtesy Redd Foxx as Sanford.
