I think they are parading this awful House bill around as a stalking horse. If no one had complained then Bam!, it is law. However, now with all the backlash, they will hammer out another bad bill but just not as bad as the present one, and everyone will settle on a “compromise” bill that is almost as bad but with the most objectionable aspects removed. Then that will pass and the can of Socialism will have been kicked further down the road.
