And it does the child good to have that name attached to him/her. But it sure makes you feel good doesn’t it? The child is innocent. Bastard is a derogatory word in it’s current use. The innocent child does not deserve it.
The child and innocence has nothing to do with the situation.
The child is a bastard regardless of how bad you hate the situation or the absolutely dead on word.
