It's amazing how many on the left and now on the right - even - will ridicule a Constitutional requirement for the POTUS. The SCOTUS needs to rule on this issue, as precedent is not clear about the NBC clause.

Regardless of what happens with bammy, this issue must be clarified for future. I say at the least, all federal office seekers must reveal their long form BC, etc. and comply with the same checks as those seeking security clearances in the government. The first item, should be a requirement to satisfy Article II, Section 1, the checks should be written into election law.

Amen to that! Send that to every Secretary of State in the Country and all your State Legislators. This has to become law in each state before the next election. Good God, there isn't a requirement for POTUS to have to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance? That's insane. I guess I assumed that was just Done on the national level. For one thing, Obambi would Not have passed Any security clearance, so let's get on it folks! Contact your local politicians and let's get this on the books!
