I have reached the very same boiling point that most conservatives around me have reached. The nazis were not fond of individual rights, small limited/representative government, or life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Take a look at the National socialist party platform, 1920 and you will see the obvious. Many of you will be incapable of doing the following: blind yourself all references to 'the jews' as you read this and it indeed does look very similar to what we see from one of america's prominent ideologies today. It doesn't sound like conservatives. How many times do you see references to 'the state'?(And power to the state, etc)(directly or indirectly) The state needed to provide jobs, redistribute wealth, attack the rich, and other things. How about hogwash about equality? Yep, the nazis wanted that too. Don't miss the part about nationalization.
And of course, nationalized healthcare. Which of course germany already had. But the nazis strengthened it.
The nazis had their own similar policies to the fairness doctrine.
Right there in their platform at the bottom: Public interest over private interest - That is *NOT* anything like conservatism. Doesn't matter if you're talking about Buckley's conservatism, Goldwater, Limbaugh, or any other.
And the similarities keep on coming.

Let's not forget that it was Nancy Pelosi who started all of this nazi talk with her comment on swastikas.
The nazis didn't just have their genocide element. They also had an economic element. It could be best described as liberal, or progressive, or socialist, or fascist.
But certainly not conservative.
Same with their stances on most other issues.
If they throw out the term Nazi, they think the American people are to stupid to actually look up the Doctrines. The nightmare of the monsters in power now is that the American people become informed.
That is our job, inform!!!!

Most of the left in this country despise the Jews the same way Hitler did. They just aren’t acting on it the way he did...

When reading, just replace “the jews” with “the racist, right-wing extremists,” and you’ll get the picture.
Eh? Jews vote Democratic by overwhelming margins. Republicans are certainly more friendly to Israel, but saying liberals are anti-semitic is something different, and is inaccurate.
The democrat party is a fascist party. The progressive ideology is to have government tied to every aspect of our lives from our healthcare to our energy use to what companies or products are good and which are bad to how we think or to you name it, the list goes on and on with how progressives (democrats) view the power of the state becoming.

Yup. Your observation is "right on target".
I have a German friend who from his perspective in Germany is alarmed at the parallels the current white house occupant is taking us and the 1930’s National Socialism government under Her Hitler. He is alarmed, but I am scared. Unless the American people wake up the future of our country as we have known it is in grave doubt.

Fascist or National Socialist makes no difference. In function, if not in name, it is exactly what the Hussein administration is all about: gathering the key national businesses and means of production and Gross National Product into their iron fist.
Cant't think of a better historical comparison than the Germany of 1920-1938, otherwise nown as Nazi Germany. The comparison has nothing to do with Jews, but everything to do with totalitarianism, under the guise of the "greater good," and the accompanying propaganda and outright lies to achieve their objective.
The progressives would rather we were cowed into ignoring the similarities.

You are right. Events are spiraling out of control with ACORN, SEIU and other Brown Shirt thugs. If they take over like they want to we are facing arnachy in the streets. Too many people were suckered in by current white house occupant’s propaganda and lies. In Mein Kampf Hitler wrote that the more often you repeat a lie, the more likely people will believe it and the more outrageous the lie is, the more likely people are to believe. There must be a copy of Mein Kampf in the liars library. God help the USA
