Dear President Obama
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truely scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend your formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core..
You scare me because you lack humility and "class", always blaming other.

I thought "13 Presidents" to live under was an incredible amount. Then, I counted mine - 10 - and got scared. I'm old, and now closer to my death than I am to my birth.
Oh well, probably George Bush's fault.

The letter makes a salient error. Obama is not president, he is “Resident” of the White House.Thats a fact until he publicly verifies that he is a natural born citizen of the USA.
I remember I was on vacation with my Dad as a boy. It must have been August.

I'll soon be 66 and you also got me thinking and when I added them up, I also have lived under 13, albeit, don't remember many (or more than likely, paid attention) until Kennedy.
Am I afraid? Not for myself, as after 18 months in Nam, there is little that frightens or intimidates me as I consider every day since my return on July 4th, 1967, another grace period day, but I do worry that those younger than me will never get to experience the freedoms and liberties we have enjoyed for over 200 years and I agree with everything Lou writes, especially the last part about his being able to write a similar letter in 8 years.
I predict its going to get ugly out there and just hope I'm capable of [de]fending myself when the time comes.

I’ve lived under 13 presidents. Some have been ok. Others have been disasters. The current iteration is in the disaster column.
I’ve had 5. Never really liked any of them. Of course, I was too young to know what was going on with Reagan. In retrospect, he’s the best. None of them were as ominous as Obama.

Wow, I’m 69 and realized I’ve lived under 13, too. FDR thru the Usurper. I campaigned for Ike when I was 12 years old, worked for Goldwater all year when I was 24. Kind of eye-opening, isn’t it? Especially when we consider how many of our (greatly advanced) years we’ve spent trying to save our country. Especially now. No wonder I’m tired!
I did not realize that the JBS was still around.
