“It would be poetic justice if health care fell one vote short of passing because of Teds politically motivated stunt to deny then governor Romney the right to appoint a new senator for Massachusetts.”
That’s a real possibility.
I agree with you, Now there will be an even harder full court press to get the Teddybama Health Care Bills passed to honor St Tedward Kennedy..
What a joke considering his concern for the health of Mary Jo back in the day.....
RFK Jr. is still lurking in the wings. Don’t forget he called everyone who denounces the myth of man-made global warming “traitors”.
He may still walk into Congress one day.
Selected not elected can work wonders for people who may not run a successful campaign.

He is still dead Jim!
I second that! I never heard the word Apokatastasis before either.
In other news, Mary Jo Kopechne still unavailable for comment (apologies to James Taranto).
Good riddance.

Good Tagline and a good reminder of one of the reasons why....Oops....can’t speak ill of the dead, you know.
Too bad for the Dims...they just lost their 60th vote.
Amen to that!!!
Let’s see- When Tony Snow died- the media made him out to be hoprrible, but when a Murderer and an nagry, loudmouthed public d0.runk dies he’s a ‘great man’? Daily Jos, Democratic Underground and several other extremist leftist websites sheered and maligned Tony Snow’s death- one of hte nicest humans you’d ever want to meet- but you watch- when sites beging statign the UGLY FACTS about Kennedy, the left wil l go absolutely m.ental
He caused a great deal of harm to our great nation.
RIP
I hope they don’t turn his funeral into a political rally

Nice to know I’m not alone ...have you looked it up? I actually just ordered a book on it to read:
Our cynicism comes naturally here at this site.
While a departed soul's final resting place is secured on their personal acceptance of the Messiah (no pun intended here), our cynicism comes from years of watching the Roman Catholic church in the USA gives a big moral pass to Rich Irish Catholics.
Maybe it is a great homage to St. Patrick, but a person's state of wealth should have no bearing on their spiritual bank account.
